Majorca (part 2)
Yes, yes I know I said I'd put the second installment of this fable up yesterday but I was too busy listening to the new CD's I bought.
So anyway back to the holiday.
As I was saying the apartment left a lot to be desired and I pulled a muscle and was in agony because of it. It's fair to say the week wasn't looking hopeful.
On the first morning (and every other morning) I was woken up by the sun shining directly in my face. It meant I couldn't lie facing the window for an hour or so which was a bit of a pain. Throughout the entire week I felt tired constantly. It was strange I began to think that I was ill. Course I wasn't ill I was only tired from the lack of sleep which was making me delirious constantly. I was acting pretty weird most of the time.
So on the first morning we found out that the beach was miles away from where we were staying. There was a little train thing we could take instead of walking but it wasn't any better. There was always a huge crowd of people waiting to get on and the driver packed us in like sardines. Not pleasant. Being crushed against sweaty bodies in 30C heat is not what I had in mind for a relaxing holiday.
The beach was fine there were a lot of kids running about but they were good for providing entertainment. On one occasion I was sitting behind a yuky straight couple who were all over each another in the most sickly of ways. Just after they had finished covering themselves in sunscreen a little girl ran up to them, grabbed some sand and through it on to them. God it was so funny. I tried not to laugh but couldn't help myself. Kids rock!
I'm getting tired now. The next part will be the final one. I'll post it either tomorrow or Tuesday.
